Employment Requirements

Working days and hours are constantly changing
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends
Must be willing to work out of town
Must have transportation
Must have a telephone
Minimum Class B California drivers license is required with hazmat and tanker endorsements. A grace period of 90 days will be given to those that do not have at time of employment. If not received by then PCI will have just cause for termination
Must have a “clean” driving record and are insurable with the company’s insurance agency
DMV report will be constantly monitored
Must be or willing to be signatory to the Stripers Laborer’s Union, Local 1184. New sign ups will pay for the cost to join and pay all monthly dues
If a beginner hire, you may be required to sign up for the union apprenticeship program
A strict dress code will be enforced
Potential hires will be required to obtain a premployment physical and drug/alcohol test
Employees will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing
Must pass given employment testing for math, vocabulary and spelling skills
